Fume Exhaust Hoods are designed to contained and exhaust toxic, Obnoxious or otherwise harmful gases, vapors, mist etc. to protect personal and equipment. A motor driven blower creates negative pressure with in the chamber extracting the contaminated air from work area and expel it in to the atmosphere. The hood is ventilated of the air flow drawn from inside the laboratory which is used effectively for through sweep-out of work chamber.

The standard featured of Fume Hood are

Inbuilt centrifugal blower unit

Fluorescent tubes with safety electrical

Internally Located Electric Plugs.

Counter balanced Sliding up & down front sash (door)

Utility chamber or storage unit beneath the fume hood unit to keep utility material such as Glassware, Material handling equipment and accessories with storage capacity starting from approx. 400 Litre area upto 1200 Ltr Approx. (optional)

An Air Flow System is designed to control and direct the flow of air within a specified environment. Here’s a brief overview of its uses:

  1. Ventilation: Provides controlled air circulation and ventilation in enclosed spaces.
  2. Air Quality Control: Manages air quality by controlling the distribution of fresh and filtered air.
  3. Temperature Regulation: Helps regulate temperatures by directing airflows to desired areas.
  4. Dust and Particle Control: Controls the movement of dust and particles through filtered air systems.
  5. HVAC Systems: Integral in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems for indoor climate control.
  6. Cleanroom Environments: Used in cleanrooms to maintain specific air quality standards for sensitive processes.
  7. Industrial Exhaust Systems: Applied in industrial settings for exhausting air contaminants and maintaining a safe workplace.
  8. Contamination Prevention: Prevents the spread of contaminants by controlling airflow patterns.
